Ten Inches Of Snow
In Muscatine on Tuesday, March 4, 1952, after ten inches of snow fell overnight, Dale got stuck driving out of the garage behind our house on East Seventh Street and had to shovel snow a half-block downhill in the alley to Mulberry Avenue to go to work. The next day, he left the car parked on the street and wrote, “Too much snow to get it in garage.”
